Is it waterproof?
Wet areas are waterproofed as part of the build-up and the finished surface is sealed. Waterproofing is a distinct layer under the decorative microcement finish, not the finish coat itself.
Can it go over existing tile?
In most cases yes, once a licensed installer inspects the substrate. The tile is cleaned and prepared, then coated — the usual approach in a remodel, since it avoids demolition.
